INTEGRATED DEFENSE POLICY and STRENGTHENING the people's purchasing power WORKER
The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) in the context of the intensification of the contradictions of classes that develop in the middle the process of change that we walk, fanned by counter offensive of imperialist capital and its economic and political instruments, raises the need to build a new correlation of forces in Venezuelan society where working class, leading a Bloque Popular Revolucionario, places it at the forefront of struggles around our people to consolidate and deepen the changes, to full national liberation and the defeat of capitalist hegemony, in view of the construction of socialism.
basis of these strategic objectives, we assume the need to strengthen capacities to organized labor movement and popular independent and class consciousness. That is why present the following proposal for comprehensive policy for the protection and strengthening purchasing power of working people to become part of the Programme to Combat immediate class working and popular sectors of the revolutionary organizations and the government headed by President Chavez, understanding that, despite various policies and initiatives of the executive aimed at achieving national food sovereignty and security and combat speculation and hoarding, our people continue to suffer the rigors of the capitalist economy and rentier that dominates the national reality, causing a rapid loss of purchasing power of wages and deteriorating quality of life that must be compensated.
From there, the need to move towards industrialization, sovereignty and development of a new model with workers' control over production through Tips Socialist Workers and Workers to overcome the structural and systemic causes inflation, the unemployment, poverty, inequality, injustice and dependence.
Objectives:
- That the working class, in front of working people in general, assume and activate a national plan the fight to conquer a defense policy and strengthening the purchasing power, according to the guidelines and proposals of the PCV, accumulate strength and allows progress in the direction of becoming at the forefront of the revolutionary process, a prerequisite for defeat the hegemony of capital and forward the construction of Socialism.

- Exert greater and more effective control on prices goods and consumer services, with the active participation of the workers, consumers and users in general.

- Achieve greater role, legitimacy and strengthening of trade unions in joint with the rest of the labor movement and popular, through the processes of collective bargaining and other actions, seeking to improve economic and social conditions of and workers and their families.

Actions propose run:
I) Minimum Wage Increase (SMN) by 40% * (1 SMN: 1223.89 passes 1,713 Bs) and percentage wage adjustments, with the following scales :
to 2 minimum wages , 40%
to 3 minimum wages 35%
to 4 minimum wages , 30%
to 5 minimum wages 25%

(* Social Security pensions will increase in proportion to the increase in SMN , any other pension is approved national, state or city that is below SMN)

V) Delete the Value Added Tax (VAT) and amending the Act of Income Tax (Income Tax) .
