The big band theory follows the adventures of Sheldon Leonard and two scientists who share work and apartment and have a very nerdy way of seeing things, but very awkward to socialize shown when their new neighbor Penny comes into the building. They are accompanied by Howard Wolowitz, an engineer beau pseudo-Jewish origin movie paradigm psychedelic sixties and Rajesh Koothrappali, an astrophysicist of Indian nationality.
